Description

The identification of the predominant phytochemical compounds in the CH2Cl2 fraction of Agerantum hostonianum P. Mill is sought through gas mass chromatography. Additionally, their antioxidant activity is validated using the DPPH method as described by W. Brand-Williams [11], and their antimicrobial activity is assessed through CMI.

Steps to reproduce

The following procedures were carried out: the plant was collected, maceration was performed in a solvent, followed by distillation and subsequent identification of phytochemical compounds through gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. The evaluation of antioxidant activity was conducted using the DPPH method, along with the assessment of antioxidant activity through CMI
