Replication package for paper "Does Geopolitical Risk Hinder Technological Breakthroughs? Firm-level Evidence from China". The package contains Code, Data, Tables, Figures, Stata_packages, and README. The package contains data-construction programs, analysis programs, disclosure documentation, and generated exhibits. The empirical sample is an unbalanced panel of Chinese A-share firms from 2015 to 2019. Licensed or confidential source extracts are documented but are not redistributed. For every restricted raw-data interface used by the public cleaning path, the package provides a fixed synthetic substitute with the required filename, variable structure, and merge keys. Public Chinese stock codes, calendar years, observed panel support, and public four-digit industry codes are retained. Proprietary values and licensed identifiers are synthetic. The public master therefore runs from synthetic raw inputs through cleaning, analysis, tables, and figures without exposing restricted data. Synthetic outputs verify program continuity, data contracts, and the original computational methods, including PaECTER. Because the inputs are artificial, they do not reproduce the manuscript's coefficients, statistical significance, figures, or conclusions. Authorized users may run the same programs with licensed inputs by following the steps in README.
