The dataset consists of ground vegetation data from 1m x 1m square plots (50 Nos) from a sub-alpine grassland in Bhutan, collected for 3 years (2021- 2023) to assess the effects of Juniper pruning on the restoration of degraded grassland. This data supports the fndings of the research article titled, "Dealing with two antagonist conservation targets: Saving the sub-alpine grasslands and yak herding in Bhutan from the invasion of protected Himalayan juniper."
