BanglaCompound-HW is a handwritten Bangla compound character image dataset containing approximately 3,000 images collected from 10 volunteer contributors. The dataset consists of 30 commonly used Bangla compound character classes, with around 100 handwritten samples per class. It is designed to support research in handwritten character recognition, optical character recognition (OCR), computer vision, and deep learning.
