Description

The specific faunal surveyed was presented in datasets in order to understand the importance of the presence of insects and spiders many of them associated in inland aquatic environments of a Mediterranean mountain. The data obtained highlight a rich specific insects and spiders component often-in Habitat directive. The data will provide useful information to outline strategies for the conservation and the management of these sites already at risk by climate change. The collected data follow within the execution of the specific wetland area project funded by Aspromonte National Park “Progetto di studio e ricerca sulla biodiversità degli ambienti umidi del Parco Nazionale dell'Aspromonte“ (Programma operativo FESR Calabria 2014/2020 OT 6 Azione 6.5.A1 - Monitoraggio Sic Terrestri in Aree Protette, - Regione Calabria). The dataset includes 4.731 count and 473 species collected and identified with 400 insects, 1 millipedes, centipedes and 71 spiders.
