Description

This dataset contains the raw data underlying the study "MutX plays an important role in protecting chromosome oxidative damage and enhancing pathogenicity in Streptococcus suis". It encompasses all replicate-level numerical data used to generate the main figures and statistical analyses, including but not limited to growth curve measurements, inhibition zone diameters for antibiotics and H₂O₂, mutation frequency counts, bacterial load data from in vivo mouse infection experiments, and enzymatic activity measurements. The dataset also includes the specific statistical source data and calculations from which the reported P-values and significance levels were derived. Additionally, original uncropped and unprocessed agarose gel electrophoresis images are provided, including PCR verification gels and comet assay images.
