Description

The concentrations of total suspended matter (TSM), particulate organic carbon (POC), and stable carbon isotope ratios of POC in the East China Sea shelf in February 2025

Steps to reproduce

1. Sampling: Seawater samples were collected and filtered on board. 2. Laboratory experiment: For TSM analysis, the subsampled filters were freeze-dried (-80°C, ~24 hours) and weighed, with concentrations determined by weight difference. The subsampled filters were de-carbonated and heated, and then POC concentrations and δ13C-POC were analyzed with an elemental analyzer (EA 2400 CHNS/O Series Ⅱ, PerkinElmer, USA) and an isotope ratio mass spectrometer (IRMS, Isoprime, UK) connected to an elemental analyzer (EA 3000, Eurovector, Italy), respectively.
