Description

This article presents a bibliometric dataset related to research on ethnic cultural identity education, indigenous education, community-based approaches, and educational management in minority and Indigenous contexts indexed in the Scopus database between 1992 and 2026. The dataset was retrieved from Scopus and filtered according to thematic relevance to ethnic cultural identity, indigenous knowledge, community participation, educational governance, culturally responsive learning, and community-based educational practices. The final dataset consists of 41 publications, including journal articles, conference papers, reviews, and book chapters. Bibliometric mapping and visualization were conducted using VOSviewer to identify publication trends, geographical distribution, citation structures, and thematic keyword co-occurrence. The dataset indicates increasing scholarly attention to the interrelationship between cultural identity, community participation, and locally grounded educational practices, particularly after 2010. The dataset may support future studies on educational management, Indigenous education, community-based learning, educational policy, and ethnic minority education. In addition, the dataset provides a useful resource for comparative research and the development of theoretical frameworks related to the management of ethnic cultural identity education in ethnic boarding schools.
