This dataset contains 87 countries and territories participating in the Joint wave of EVS and WVS 2017-2022 (based on version 5.0), focusing on education, self-reported turnout in national elections, household income, perceived electoral integrity and perceived level of democracy in respondents' country. The survey data has been merged to contextual data from V-Dem (version 14), which provides information on countries' regime type (based on the RoW index) and the degree of compulsory voting measures.
