Effect of calcaneal position on achilles tendon thickness in asymptomatic vs posterior heel pain subjects: A comparative study

A total of 40 subjects were included in the study and were divided into 2 groups. 20 subjects who were having asymptomatic tendon were allocated to first group and 20 subjects who were having pain in the back of the heel were allocated to second group. Position of calcaneum of bilateral foot were assessed of all the subjects followed by sonography of the tendoachilles to admeasure its thickness. At last results were compared between the two groups.
