Description

This laboratory addresses the validation and simulation of Virtual Network Embedding (VNE) algorithms using an offline scenario. Students will simulate the embedding of multiple Virtual Network Requests (VNRs) onto a physical substrate network with CPU and bandwidth constraints. The experiment evaluates the feasibility of embeddings, validates constraint satisfaction, and calculates the Request Acceptance Ratio (RAR). Hypotheses will be established and later contrasted with simulation results.

This repository contains four laboratory datasets prepared for submission to Mendeley Data. Each folder corresponds to a lab and includes: - The laboratory guide (.docx) - Supporting artifacts (scripts, configs, SQL, examples) - README.md and dataset_description.txt files Labs included: 1.
