Description

This investigation assessed the spatiotemporal behaviour of the gait human through of two MOCAP systems Marker-based: OptiTrack system and Low-cost Smartphone systems. As part of this study, were selections three test subjects (TS) reported prior their general information. Initially, TS were first equipped with passive-retroreflective markers. Then, TS calibration and an adaptive period, the TS carried out short gait (2.0 min) while middle-body kinematics and videos were collected. The video and kinematic data collected during these gait tests were used in this investigation to compare the tracking performance between OptiTrack system and marker-based motion capture with Smartphone camera for assessing gait kinematics. On other hands, all participants signed informed consent prior to the tests.
