Description

Morphologies/distributions of α″ produced by stretching/rolling found to be similar. With small deformation, α″ martensite consists of parallel lamellar structures. For larger deformations, martensite has ladder-like pattern and parallel ellipsoids. Hardness first decreases, then increases, with increase in deformation.
