Soil Macro Nutrient Dataset for Organic Fertilizer Advice, Pune
Description
The soil health dataset is produced using the soil health cards (SHC) accessible on our government official website, https://www.soilhealth.dac.gov.in/. It has one output and eleven features spread among 1653 samples. These input and out features are described in the README files. Samples of the soil health data from five distinct sub-districts (Mawal, Bhor, Haveli, Indapur, Khed ) in Maharashtra state are included in the dataset. Soil health cards are taken for the 3 years 2016, 2017 and 2018. The dataset is intended to support research in soil health analysis for organic fertilizer advice prediction for farmers in region of Pune, Maharashtra, India. This dataset includes primary and secondary soil macronutrients values. 3 Primary macronutrients are Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K) and 6 macronutrients includes Sulfur (S), secondary macronutrient, Zinc (Zn) macronutrient, Boron (B) macronutrient, Copper (Cu) macronutrient, Iron (Fe) macronutrient, Manganese (Mn) macronutrient, 2 soil health parameters includes Potential of Hydrogen (Soil Chemical Property), Organic Carbon (Soil Health Parameter). Intended Uses are a. Soil health analysis for suitable organic fertilizer prediction. b. Soil feature engineering for model optimization. c. Smart Farming Soil nutrient values are limited to categories not numerical and useful to predict limited organic fertilizer given in the dataset. Categories of all input features are described in the README file. Organic fertilizer advice is target variable in the dataset. Organic fertilizers covered in the target variable are: FYM, Green Manure, Organic Manure, Vermicompost
