Luisa MarquesDescription
The dataset comprises the fatty acid (FA) profiles of the estuarine amphipod Melita palmata, analyzed separately for males and females, collected from two locations with contrasting environmental conditions—particularly salinity—situated in the downstream and upstream sections of the Mira Channel, Ria de Aveiro coastal lagoon, Portugal. These data allow the assessment of sex- and site-specific differences in the FA profile of Melita palmata. The dataset also includes all R scripts used for the statistical analyses, along with the data matrices employed in the multivariate and univariate tests.
