Sun exposure was proved to be possible precipitating factor for rosacea. In our study, we determined infrared heat alone could provoke the disease by inducing significant blood flow-mediated vasodilation, independently from ultraviolet. We suggest a physical sunlight protection that blocks both UV exposure and heat for daily protection of rosacea.
