Description

This dataset contains 3D differential pulse voltammograms (changing either pulse amplitude or time) obtained from herbal extracts of street samples containing synthetic cannabinoids (SCs) in acetonitrile. Additionally, blanks with only acetonitrile and Tetrabutylammonium tetrafluoroborate (TBATFB), herbal blanks with marshmallow extracts, and lab made samples consisting of only BB-22 sprayed in marshmallow leaves are also included. Detected SCs include 5F-AKB48, AKB48, 5F-PB-22, BB-22, AB-CHMINACA, and AB-FUBINACA.

Steps to reproduce

Extraction was performed by adding 60mg of sample in 5 ml of acetonitrile followed by 10 minutes in a ultrasonic bath. 4 mL were then taken and diluted to 5 mL with the addition of TBATFB (final concentration of 0.1 mol/L). Measurements were performed using a glassy carbon work electrode, a reference Ag/AgCl electrode (both from Metrohm), and a platinum wire as a counter electrode in a Metrohm Autolab PGSTAT302N potentiostat. Each method used was as following: 3D DPV with pulse amplitude changes > Potential: 0.5-1.9V with 10mV steps > Pulse amplitude: 10-100mV with 10mV steps > Pulse duration: 20ms > Interval: 200ms 3D DPV with pulse time changes > Potential: 0.5-1.9V with 10mV steps > Pulse amplitude: 50mV > Pulse duration: 10-100ms with 10ms steps > Interval: 200ms
