Description

Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) was conducted to investigate the thermal degradation behavior of the combustible fraction of municipal solid waste (CFMSW) over a temperature range of 30 °C to 900 °C under an inert atmosphere. Approximately 5-10 mg of CFMSW samples were subjected to controlled heating rates of 5, 10, 15,20, and 25 °C/min. The resulting mass loss data with respect to temperature has been compiled.

Steps to reproduce

Approximately 5-10 mg of combustible fraction of municipal solid waste samples was taken in platinum crucible in a thermogravimetric analyzer to investigate the thermal degradation behavior of the combustible fraction of municipal solid waste over a temperature range of 30 °C to 900 °C under an inert atmosphere. The samples were subjected to controlled heating rates of 5, 10, 15,20, and 25 °C/min. The nitrogen flow rate was 100 ml/min. The resulting mass loss data with respect to temperature has been compiled.
