Processed PET brain imaging data from prior studies as described in Goyal, Vlassenko et al. Cell Metabolism 2017. Updated in 2025 adding raw data for literature-based estimates, provenance notes, reproducibility code, and comparison to independent data.

Steps to reproduce

(2018) PET regional data is provided as an RData file with an accompanying R Script that reproduces many of the key figures and findings reported in Goyal, Vlassenko et al. Cell Metabolism 2017. Running the script with the associated RData file should reproduce the results. Note that for privacy reasons, ID numbers and specific dates had to be removed. (2025) Literature-based estimates are provided in CSV files and processed via an accompanying R script. The script assumes the CSVs are in the working directory. It produces (a) OGI slope estimates under multiple assumptions and (b) GH1979_predictions.csv (linear model predictions from Gottstein & Held 1979). Run `global_analysis.R`. No additional R packages are required.
