Description
The growth of digital employment platforms has generated large volumes of information related to labor demand, becoming a relevant source for labor market analysis through data science and artificial intelligence techniques. This paper presents jobEcuador, a dataset built from job postings published on the professional social network LinkedIn for the Ecuadorian context, collected between December 2025 and May 2026. The dataset construction process was developed in three main phases: data collection through web scraping techniques, automatic identification of salary information using BERT-based Question Answering models, and semantic extraction of professional skills using Large Language Models (LLMs) through the OpenAI API. The final dataset contains 4,535 records and 28 fields related to salaries, geographic location, hiring companies, professional profiles, and technical competencies.
