Effects of glibenclamide on LPS-induced neuroinflammation in mice: experimental data and R code
Description
This dataset contains experimental measurements and R code from a study of glibenclamide in an LPS-induced mouse model of neuroinflammation. The experimental groups comprise control, LPS, LPS plus glibenclamide, LPS plus MCC950, and LPS plus glibenclamide and MCC950. The files include open-field and novel-object-recognition measurements; ELISA measurements of IL-1beta and IL-18; Nissl cell counts; GFAP and Iba1 positive area measurements; Sholl intersection counts and process lengths; western blot images, densitometry results and lane assignments; and longitudinal blood glucose, body temperature and body weight records. Histology images used for quantification are also included. Sample mapping tables link assay-specific identifiers to animal identifiers. The image index and filename mapping table document the correspondence between image files and measurement records. Variable definitions, units and missing-value conventions are provided in README.txt and the accompanying workbooks. The R scripts reproduce the quantitative panels and study diagrams in the main and supplementary figures. They also export animal-level values, summary statistics and the statistical comparisons used in the plots. Experimental image panels are not generated by the scripts. Software dependencies, execution instructions and figure-to-data correspondence are described in code/README.md.
