This study aimed at developing a lighting strategy that can facilitate speed breeding as well as promote the production of spring wheat in indoor farming. We explored the effects of light spectrum, light color temperature, light intensity, photoperiod as well as light pattern on wheat growth, development, leaf photosynthesis, yield and seed quality.
