Description

Data that looks at how market structure affects delays for US domestic flights between the years 2004 - 2017. Data on airline delays come from the Airline On-Time Performance Data (OTPD) from the US Bureau of Transportation Statistics. The data on tail numbers and seat capacity come from the Federal Aircraft Administration Aircraft Registry. The data on flight-related whether comes from the Local Climatological Data (LCD) provided by the National Center for Environmental Information.
