Global Paper Ranking-2024
Description
This dataset presents the SNAPR 2024 global paper-level rankings, encompassing approximately 4.6 million scientific publications indexed in the OpenAlex database. Each record includes the DOI, article title, journal name, study design, journal SNIP, paper-level SNIP, final SNAPR score, global SNAPR-based rank, author country affiliations, journal validity and recommendation status, thereby providing a transparent and context-sensitive assessment of research impact across journals, disciplines, and institutions.

Steps to reproduce
The dataset was generated using the fully automated KSCIEN-SNAPR software, which retrieves bibliometric metadata, classifies study design through natural language processing, excludes self-citations and citations originating from predatory journals, and computes SNAPR scores using a composite weighting scheme that integrates journal SNIP (45%), paper SNIP (30%), and study design category (25%). Global ranking distributions were subsequently calculated for each paper.
