Dataset associated with the article Nursing communication behavior and hospitalized patient safety

Description

This dataset contains anonymized data used in the study evaluating the influence of the communication behavior of the nursing professional on the safety of hospitalized patients in a private clinic in Iquitos, 2025.

Steps to reproduce

Data were obtained from an analytical cross-sectional study conducted among hospitalized patients in a private level II-2 clinic in Iquitos, Peru, during 2025. Information was collected between March and May 2025 using the Nurse Communication Behavior Questionnaire (CECOP) and the Patient Safety Brief Questionnaire (CbSP). Participants were selected through non-probabilistic census-type sampling according to the study eligibility criteria. The database was anonymized prior to publication to ensure participant confidentiality. Statistical analyses were performed using SPSS version 24.
