This study aimed to assess and observe the postural risks stemming from tablet use for studying within the UST-CRS student population. The results revealed that the average RULA score of the 77 participants was 5, meaning that their posture needs further investigation and must be changed soon. In terms of variability, the Neck, Trunk, & Leg score showed the highest deviation. It was also evident that arm and wrist postures, as well as trunk positioning, were linked to higher ergonomic risk, potentially causing musculoskeletal pain.
