Poyang_Lake_Bird_Aesthetic_and_Visual_Feature_Data

Description

This dataset contains mean aesthetic ratings and mean visual feature ratings for 25 representative bird images from Poyang Lake, China. The dataset includes one aesthetic rating variable and 28 visual feature variables covering color, body form, beak, plumage, legs, and markings. These data were used to examine associations between bird visual characteristics and aesthetic evaluations through Pearson correlation analysis, stepwise regression, partial least squares regression (PLSR), and Extra Trees analysis. The dataset supports the identification of candidate aesthetic cues for subsequent restorative virtual reality (VR) design translation based on attention restoration theory.
