Processed Data

Description

Processed data of unidirectional and non-unidirectional dendritic freeze cast ceramics, containing image data of reconstructed struts (connected struts), segmented pore space (pores) and statistical data of individual pores (Data***.csv).

Steps to reproduce

Some basic knowledge and appropiate software to process the image data is required (e. g. python + numpy + skimage package). E.g. for spatial orientation: 1) label struts 2) determine strut endpoints 3) calculate Eucledian distance of each endpoint pair (directional vector) 4) normalize directional vectors 5) choose appropriate data visualization See paper for detailed data processing steps or contact the corresponding author for additional help and information (Thomas Ilzig).
