Electrical conductivity anisotropy of synthetic porous media with oriented fractures
Description
The following data contains electrical conductivity for porous media with oriented fractures. Samples were constructed using mixtures of glass beads and epoxy at a mixing ratio specified in the file "Sample_properties". Samples were measured in directions parallel and perpendicular to the oriented fractures with anisotropy ratios calculated. The mean anisotropy ratio along with its uncertainty is given along with the individual conductivity measurements in file titled "Sample_data". Sample properties are given in the file titled "Sample_properties". These include total porosity, crack porosity, glass bead epoxy mixing ratio (by weight) and length of the samples. Samples were cylindrical with diameters of .0381 cm. A manuscript to give the full details of data collection is currently in submission and will be linked to this data set upon its publication.
