This dataset provides panel data on urban spatial structure and carbon emissions for 19 Chinese urban agglomerations from 2010 to 2021. The spatial structure of urban agglomerations is quantified through two key dimensions, polycentricity and compactness, and covers multiple indicators. The dataset enables researchers to analyze the influence of spatial structure evolution on carbon emissions at the scale of urban agglomerations, offering empirical support for studies on sustainable urban development and spatial planning.
