The data shows the energy poverty headcount for México, the calculations were performed with data from the survey ENIGH year 2018. In the study we use the income-share of energy-expenditure as energy-expenditure proxy. The data is adult equivalent through CONEVAL's scale and income is the residual income net of housing expenses.

Steps to reproduce
The main source of the data was ENIGH (2018) which is the National Survey of Households Income and Expenditure from México. In order to obtain the energy poverty headcount and gap we followed the metrics LILC, LIHC, 2M, M/2, LILC-M/2 and LIHC-2M. The data is in .csv format and can be open in excel or statistical software such as SPSS and Stata.
