Description

This is a precipitation dataset in the Tianshan Mountains under RCP4.5 scenario, covering the area between 73°54′E-95°18′E and 39°18′N-45°24′N. The time is from 2023 to 2050 and the spatial resolution is 90m. This data were producted by downscaling the ensemble averages of MIROC_ESM_CHEM, CanESM2, HadGEM2-ES, INMCM4, and NorESM1-M of CMIP5. The accuracy of data was evaluated by observing precipitation during the historical period (2006-2022). At 30 meteorological stations, the coefficient of determination between the observations and simulations is above 0.60, the root-mean-square error and mean absolute error are lower than 15 mm, and the Slope of the linear functions of the two is between 0.55 and 1.05. At most stations, the root-mean-square error and mean absolute error are lower than 7 mm. Please refer to the article for production details on the dataset.
