Description
This dataset was collected for the purpose of study conducted to analyze the mediating role of the presence of meaning in life on the relationship of moral identity and hope subscales with mental wellbeing. The data was collected after we adapt the: • moral identify scale originally developed by Aquino & Americus (2002) • The meaning in life was measured by a scale originally developed and revised by Steger • Hope was measured by the Adult Hope Scale (AHS), developed by Snyder in 1991 • Mental Wellbeing Scale: the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale (WEMWBS) originally developed by Sarah Stewart-Brown and her associates The data was collected from 595 students from university. Before the data collection, ethical clearance was received from Hawassa University College of Education Research Ethics Review Committee (Ref. No. COE-REC/017/2024) June, 18, 2024. Informed consent was received from all the participants.
