Description

The presented NMR and high-resolution MS spectra are supplementary file for "Chemical constituents from Kibatalia maingayi (Apocynaceae) and its chemotaxonomic significance". This dataset was analyzed to identify the compounds present in the dichloromethane extract of Kibatalia maingayi stem bark. Seven compounds were isolated, including tryptanthrin (Figures S1-S5), N-benzoyl-L-phenylalaninol (Figures S6-S10), N-benzoyl-L-phenylalanine methyl ester (Figures S11-S15), asperglaucide (Figures S16-S20), aurantiamide (Figures S21-S25), asperphenamate (Figures S26-S30), and pinoresinol (Figures S31-S35).

Steps to reproduce

Seven chemical constituents were isolated and purified using preparative liquid chromatography (PLC) and recycling high-performance liquid chromatography (recycling HPLC). They were identified unambiguously based on spectroscopic data (NMR and MS). NMR spectra were recorded on a Bruker Ascend™ 600 MHz spectrometer. The LC-ESI-MS were acquired using Thermo Scientific Vanquish UHPLC coupled to a Thermo Scientific™ Orbitrap Fusion™ Tribrid™ Mass Spectrometer.
