This study examined the differences in rhizosphere soil physicochemical properties, agronomic traits, and photosynthetic characteristics of three different coffee species planted at the same location, along with their interspecies interactions to clarify the photosynthetic physiology and carbon-water coupling characteristics of each species, and identified key regulatory factors that influence carbon-water utilization efficiency.
