Description

This reproducibility package supports the manuscript “Tariff settlement and reserve policies shape economic value, renewable host service, and resilience in a fixed-hardware campus PV–BESS–diesel microgrid.” It contains the raw 2023 PVGIS-SARAH3 hourly AC input used for the study, the billing-constrained 8,760-h campus load profile, model configuration and provenance records, Python simulation and analysis code, synthetic-outage generation tools and random-seed definitions, canonical numerical results, final periodic-state hardware/reserve sensitivity tables, publication scripts, and an automated computational verification suite. The final reference assessment uses periodic annual battery-state closure for deterministic calculations and 5,000 common synthetic annual outage schedules for the headline outage-adequacy analysis. Synthetic outages are comparative stress tests and are not historical utility-reliability observations. The package was audited with 49 passing automated tests.
