Description

The dataset contains 306 water-quality records, comprising 56 piped-water samples and 250 groundwater samples from the Lira area. Groundwater sources include deep boreholes, protected springs and shallow wells, while piped-water samples include distribution, reservoir and source points. The dataset provides site information, GPS coordinates and measurements of microbiological, physical and chemical parameters, including E. coli, turbidity, pH, temperature, conductivity, total dissolved solids, alkalinity, hardness, major ions and selected metals. Piped water records additionally include free and total chlorine residuals. Some results are reported below detection limits, while E. coli results include numerical counts, <1 CFU/100 mL, and TNTC classifications.
