The data was used to study the impact of foreign trade on Malawi economic growth using annual time-series secondary data from 1961 to 2016. GDP, labor force (Population), imports, exports and capital (Gross Capital formation) secondary data was collected from World Bank Data Bank. The study chose World Bank Data Bank online library for its credibility and the comprehensive statistic record which is able to keep the above-mentioned variables for a long period of time.
