Description

This dataset contains a daily time series of reported diarrhea cases along with key climatic and environmental variables across Bangladesh, covering the period from January 1, 2023, to March 31, 2025. It includes 12 variables: date, air temperature (day and night), surface temperature (day and night), precipitation, humidity (day and night), soil moisture, surface runoff, and the number of diarrhea cases. The dataset was developed to explore the potential associations between climatic factors and diarrhea incidence, aiming to support climate-sensitive health surveillance and predictive modeling. Climatic data were sourced from national meteorological and hydrological monitoring systems, while diarrhea case data were obtained from public health surveillance records. This dataset is intended for use in public health research, climate-health interaction studies, and machine learning applications related to disease forecasting and environmental health in Bangladesh.
