Description

Dataset of "Determinants of baseline skin temperature variability in runners: implications for longitudinal field-based monitoring". Thirty-five recreational runners (31 men and 4 women) were monitored weekly over three months, yielding 346 observations. Skin temperature was assessed using infrared thermography, while environmental conditions (humidity, room and outdoor temperature), skin properties (hydration, melanin, and erythema), skin perfusion, and creatine kinase. delayed onset muscle soreness, and compliance with pre-assessment recommendations were recorded.
