Bruno CostaDescription
This study aimed to investigate how heat stress impacts seminal and biochemical plasma parameters in New Zealand White rabbits. The temperature and humidity levels within the installations were recorded and the temperature-humidity index was calculated to determine whether there was heat stress. Semen samples were collected from twenty male rabbits and evaluated by seminal (presence or absence of gel plug, semen volume, color, aspect, vigor, motility, and concentration) and biochemical parameters (glucose, fructose, citric acid, total cholesterol, total proteins, sodium, and chloride concentrations), and seminal protein profile by Nano UPLC-MS/MS.
