Surgical treatment in PCOS

Description

The aim of this work was to improve the results of infertility treatment in PCOS by optimizing surgical tactics. We analyzed the surgical treatment of infertility in PCOS, its effectiveness was evaluated by changes in the hormonal profile, ultrasound parameters, the frequency of the menstrual cycle recovery, spontaneous and induced pregnancies after the surgical treatment. The study revealed high effectiveness of both methods of surgical treatment (laparoscopic ovarian drilling and laparoscopic ovarian wedge resection) in relation to the frequency of the menstrual cycle recovery, the achievement of pregnancy.
