LEARNING ANALYTICS FOR IMPROVING EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES: A DATA- DRIVEN FRAMEWORK FOR ENHANCING STUDENT PERFORMANCE AND ACADEMIC SUCCESS
Description
This study adopts a quantitative descriptive-correlational research design. The descriptive component is used to systematically examine and present the current level of learning analytics implementation and educational outcomes among selected respondents. Meanwhile, the correlational component is employed to determine the strength and direction of the relationship between learning analytics implementation and educational outcomes, such as academic performance, student engagement, retention, and learning achievement. This design is appropriate for the study because it allows for objective measurement of variables, statistical analysis of relationships, and evidence-based interpretation of how learning analytics influences educational outcomes without manipulating any variables.

Steps to reproduce
he data gathering procedure begins with securing institutional approval and obtaining permission from the selected educational institutions to conduct the study. After approval is granted, the research instrument undergoes validation by experts to ensure its content relevance, clarity, and alignment with the study objectives. A pilot testing is then conducted to assess the reliability and clarity of the questionnaire before its full administration. Once finalized, the survey is distributed to the selected respondents, including students, teachers, ICT personnel, and department heads. In addition to survey data, relevant institutional records are gathered to support and triangulate the findings. After data collection, the responses are systematically organized, encoded, and analyzed using appropriate statistical tools. Finally, the results are interpreted in relation to the research questions and objectives to draw meaningful conclusions and implications for the study.
