Description

Endo-1,4-glucanase purified to apparent homogeneity from T. viride using various downstreaming techniques was found to be thermally stable upto 500C (48h) with molecular mass of 44.67 kDa having optimum values of pH and temperature to be 4.8 and 500C, respectively. The enzyme showed a novel N-terminal peptide with 15 amino acids ‘SYPNKQPYGPSGFWM’ (UniProt-P85218).
