Supplementary data of the paper “DSM-based design approach against flexural-torsional and global-global interactive failures in CFS fixed-ended columns”
Description
These supplementary data to the above article consist of five table sets I.1 to I.5, each comprising eight separate tables, providing information about the column numerical failure loads obtained and the corresponding DSM-based predictions - they concern all the columns (see Table 2 of the article). Each table set deals with one (out five) cross-section shape and has separate individual tables for each cross-section geometry selected. Hat-sections (H) are in Tables I1.1 to I1.8, rack-sections (R) in Tables I2.1 to I2.8, return lipped channels (RLC) in Tables I3.1 to I3.8, web-stiffened lipped channels (WSC) in Tables I4.1 to I4.8, web-flange-stiffened lipped channels (WFSC) in Tables I5.1 to I5.8. Each individual table deals with columns having 6 lengths (L1 to L6 - see Table 2 of the article), 5 yield stresses (fy=150-300-450-600-750MPa). It provides (i) the buckling loads (Pcr=Pcr.FT, Pb.Fm) and ratios RG and RDL, (ii) the FT slenderness values (λFT), (iii) numerical failure loads, and (iii) numerical-to-predicted ultimate strength ratios.
