Description

This study explores the effects of shareholder perks and proxy fights on stock performance in Taiwanese firms holding extraordinary general meetings (EGMs) for the re-election of directors and supervisors. Utilizing an event study approach integrated with a multiple regression model, we investigate how the market responds to announcements of these EGMs.
