Knowledge management data set
Description
This data set contains quantitative data of the survey that was conducted to analyze the role and dynamics of tacit knowledge in an organizational setting. A structural questionnaire was used to collect the data by seeking to capture the perceptions and experience of the respondents as well as their behavioral tendencies with regards to tacit knowledge creation, sharing and use. The ultimate data set will comprise the answers to a heterogeneous sample of the participants, and will be made up of numerous measurement items, which will be operationalized on the Likert-type scale. The constructs were all modified based on other constructs that have been tested before to make them content valid and reliable. Before the analysis, the data were filtered regarding the absent values, outliers, and normality. The dataset is appropriate in using advanced statistical analyses, such as testing reliability, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. It offers a solid empirical basis on exploring tacit knowledge processes and implication of the same on organizational performance.
