Led by Fernan N. Torreno with Famiela Torreno, this systematic review of 32 studies (n≈6,200 nurses) developed the Climate-Responsive Environmental Theory of Nursing (CRETN). Findings highlight nurses’ roles in adaptive care, resilience, and advocacy, offering a SMART roadmap (2027–2030) to strengthen climate-health equity and system resilience.
