Low magnification cryo electron tomogram of a vitreous cryosection deposited on a Quantifoil R2/2 support grid reveals the topology of the cryo-sections and its contact zones with its carbon support film. This let us target adhesive areas for further high magnification tomographic data acqusitions.

Steps to reproduce
The ultra-low dose low magnification tilt series recorded at ×1400 magnification (pixel size 11.33 nm) with a total dose of 2 e–/Å2, using a Titan Krios (Thermofisher) operated at 300kV. Tomograms were reconstructed with the etomo program of IMOD (Kremer et al., 1996). The tomogram was reconstructed with imod (https://bio3d.colorado.edu/imod/) applying a SIRT-like filter, equivalent to 10 iterations.
