Description

This dataset contains the research data supporting the findings of the study entitled “Spring rest grazing timing influences the transformation and stabilization of newly assimilated carbon in alpine grassland”. The dataset includes measurements of plant and soil carbon pools, newly assimilated 13C allocation, soil organic carbon (SOC), particulate organic carbon (POC), mineral-associated organic carbon (MAOC), and related microbial and plant residue carbon indicators under different spring rest-grazing periods. Data were collected for C. alatauensis and E. nutans under three rest-grazing periods, including the soil thawing period (ST), plant regreening period (PR), and local conventional rest-grazing period (CK), at 0 and 30 days after 13C labeling. The dataset provides variable definitions and replicate-level measurements.
